The most important rule the MSA has ever had is No Bashing

Please be respectful and courteous to everyone who comes here, be they one
of your good friends or a first-timer.  Treat their opinions and thoughts
with the same care you would like yours treated.  It's fine to disagree,
but do it in way that maintains this.

This is a public website.  Children and parents are always welcome to
check things out.  Please keep all chat content at or below a PG-13 level
and limit the use of swearing.  Please be aware of the ages of the people
you are chatting with and keep your speech appropriate.

In order to prevent confusion, the MSA would like to request all members
change their display name to their Forum or AIM User Name.  You may
register for the chat under whatever you like,
but please use your MSA name while here.  If your registered name is
different from your user name, please post it on the forum in the Chat
User Name thread.  

Impersonating an officer or another member of the MSA by altering your
displayed name is prohibited.

Who to Contact: 
Like in our in AIM chat, the Skirts are known for "self-modding."  We
seldom have problems but should one arise and if anyone feels that it need
more attention than what the chat members are able to provide, please send
an email along with screencaps or a chat log to

Because this program allows users to modify their displayed name at will,
(much like MSN or MySpace) please double check that the person you may be
concerned about is who they say they are and include both their registered
name and their displayed name.


FAQ:  
Does this mean that the MSA has abandoned the old AIM chatroom?
   No, of course not!  We love the old chat and many of us will still use
it.  Unfortunately, the AIM chat has been rather empty lately with so
many of the Skirts busy with school, work, and real life in general. 
This feature, being linked directly to the site, is a quick and
convenient addition to the MSA and a nice alternative to the old
chatroom.

What if haven't been here before?  Can I join in a conversation?
   Yes, please!  We love talking to new people!

Umm, what if I'm a Ranger?
   We love Rangers and members of any other fandom.  Just like the forum,
you are welcome to join in the fun.

Well, it's my first time here and I don't know if I want to sign up for
anything.  Can I talk anyway?
   Yep!  This chat will allow you to participate without any sign up.  We
don't mind at all provided you follow the rules.
